Itinerary
After arriving in Luxor from Cairo, our Rep will help to join the rest of the group in the meeting location and start your towards the West Bank of Luxor. Discover amazing sightseeing with other travelers having the same passion.
On this tour, you will be visiting the most popular historical attractions of Luxor After picking up the rest of the group, you are going to start your journey by crossing the Nile over Luxor bridge passing by the agriculture, and seeing the farmer`s life and enjoying the scenery of the landscape and get a brief explanation from the guide about what you are going to see and visit during the day.
Also, general information about the pharaoh`s history.
Valley of the Kings is the first attraction you will visit, It`s a symbol of pharaohs’ glory, this valley was chosen by the pharaohs to be their royal necropolis.
Secondly, you will move to visit The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut (It is known also as Al Deir Al Bahary). The impressive cliff will not miss captivating your eyes with a very interesting story you will hear from your guide.
A quick break to have a drink and might stop for Alabaster Handicrafts where you will see the grandson of the artist who built the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, they still use the same equipment to make a beautiful sculpture and handmade things Colossi of Memnon is a Massive, proudly standing, and the gaze fixed toward the Nile. The two colossi of Memnon were the guardians of Amenhotep’s memorial temple. you will stop to take some photos.
From there, cross the Nile to the East bank where you Have lunch in a nice local restaurant.
Continue your day with a visit to the two glorious temples of the East Bank of the ancient Thebes. Karnak temples, the largest Ancient temple dedicated to the Theban triad Amun, Mut, and their son Khonsu. Karnak temple was connected to Luxor temple by an alley of the sphinx which was used during the Opet Festival.
End your day with Luxor temple, we choose this time always with the sunset, so you can see the temple during the day. Watch the sunset in the Nile from Luxor temple and also you can enjoy the temple when they illuminate it including the avenue of the sphinx.
From there depending on the time of your trip, back to Cairo, our rep. will drop you at the airport or train or bus station to travel back to Cairo and our Rep. in Cairo will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel.
